An attempt to understand Mumbai's water landscape.

As Siddharth makes his way towards Tapovan, we are trying to recreate similar experinces across cities in India. Having an open discussion along the Powai Lake, Mumbai is one of the first in our series.

Mumbai walks will be held at Powai lake and Mithi River (in BKC). This is an attempt to understand how the city consumes it's water resources. How is the water stored, supplied to this maximum city and where does all the waste go.

We will be accompanied by Sanctuary Asia's Dr. Parvish Pandya who teaches Zoology at Bhavan's College, Mumbai and is Sanctuary Asia's head of Natural History, Photography and Science. For over three decades his greatest pleasure has been to share his love and knowledge of nature and spread conservation awareness to citizens groups, students and the public at large and he has also held training sessions for officers of the Armed Forces and academicians.
